We hope never to turn anyone away because of an inability to pay, so fundraising is a vital part of our activities. Because we are a small charity, every penny raised counts. These are some of our fundraising ideas.

Sporting Events

Sponsored sporting events such as running, swimming, cycling, walking or extreme sports

Corporate partnerships

We are currently looking for a 2008 corporate sponsor. Your staff can have fun while fundraising for us:

• Dress-down days
• Wear a silly tie day
• Raffle where the boss donates prize
• Collecting boxes in staff canteens

Some companies will support and match funds raised by their employees.

Special Events

Make a donation for a special occasions eg. getting wedding guests to donate.
