How we can help

If you or someone close to you has been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and you are finding it difficult to cope with the impact of the disease, you may find it helpful to talk to a specialist cancer counsellor about your fears and hopes.

The Cancer Counselling Trust provides a series of free, confidential sessions, both face to face and over the phone. You do not need a doctor’s referral and we try to keep waiting times to a minimum.

If you have any questions about our counselling service please complete our online contact form.

If you have a medical enquiry or want further information on oesophageal cancer please contact either Cancerbackup on Freephone 0808 800 1234 or Cancer Help UK on 0808 800 4040. To enquire about counselling please call us on 020 7704 1137 and talk to the counselling co-ordinator to see how we may be able to help.

PLEASE NOTE: We offer a counselling service to people affected by cancer and are unable to provide medical information or advice. If you have a medical enquiry please contact Cancerbackup or Cancer Help UK on the numbers listed below.
