One in three people are diagnosed with cancer during their lives. Shock, grief and fear are just some of the feelings they and their families must deal with. Such emotions are too painful to carry alone.

Whether it be yourself, a family member or a friend, a cancer diagnosis may bring difficult and painful feelings. Talking to a counsellor experienced in cancer issues can ease the sense of isolation you may feel and help you find ways to face the challenges ahead.

The Cancer Counselling Trust offers face to face counselling in London and telephone counselling across the UK. We work with cancer patients, their families, friends and care givers who seek counselling to help them through the difficult issues precipitated by a cancer diagnosis. We are unique in providing free, specialist counselling for anyone impacted by cancer, across the UK.

"Many clients choose to come to us because we are not in a hospital setting. We have outstanding supervision from professionals experienced in working with serious illness. Because we offer a service which is free of charge we are able to meet the needs of a broad range of people, which is one of the reasons I really value working here at CCT." - Dilys Stinson - Counselling Co-ordinator
